UX Developer (Front End/Junior Level)

You will work closely with all areas of the business from marketing to production applying the latest advances in technologies. You will be involved in every step of the development process to ensure a highly interactive, useful and usable web-based and mobile product – from developing and articulating requirements and product visions, through conceptualization, documenting, communicating your design work, and implementation.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Work with product management to develop solutions to real-world problems.
• Write JavaScript, HTML and CSS in React framework, with accompanying tests
• Respond quickly to marketing requests and work closely with Support and other groups within the company on time-sensitive issues.
• Assist with releases, QA, server maintenance, upgrades, and deployment.
• Ability to design, develop, own and maintain solutions.
• Contribute, innovate, and be driven about bringing usability and aesthetics to the products.
• Work closely with product managers, UX designers, back-end and test engineers to implement elegant and easy to use front-end solutions.
• Embrace and promote best practices in order to create maintainable, high performance web applications.
• Maintain and extend existing product UI & CMS.
• Experience with user testing and incorporation of gathered user experience data.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to autonomously manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
• Be part of an agile team and sharing responsibilities of testing and development as the role demands.

Experience / Skills Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar field

· 3-5 years of experience developing client-side apps - jQuery/HTML/CSS, Representational State Transfer (REST) and JSON.

· 3+ year of experience developing rich Javascript web applications and reusable UI components.

· 2+ years of experience with AngularJS, Bootstrap, NodeJS, Compass or similar libraries.

· Experience with distributed source control - Github.

· Comfortable working in all phases of the SDLC and Agile/Scrum.

· Clearly & effectively communicate both verbally & in written form

· Magento & fabric.js experience desired
