Family owned since 1954. Nine brands. One building in Jacksonville. Everything made after you order it, not before.
The Foundation of HC Brands
A Rubber Stamp and a Kitchen Table, 1954
Owen Holmes started making rubber stamps out of his Jacksonville house in 1954. No storefront, no catalog, just a bench, some rubber, and a lot of ink.
3 Generations, 1 Family, 1975 to 2009
Bob Croft became an owner in 1975. Owen's son joined him a year later, and together they opened the company's first real storefront in San Marco. Bob's own son, Bryan, joined the business in 1998, working in production before he owned a single share of it. In 2009, Bryan bought the company from his father.
Growing the Family, 2009 to Today
Since then, HC Brands has acquired nine companies and built brands from the ground up, growing from one storefront into nine specialty websites, all still shipping from the same city Owen Holmes started in.

We don't want to be a 72 year old company. We want to be a startup that's been around for 72 years."
