HC Brands is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist with proven skills to help lead email marketing strategy and implementation across our family of brands. We are looking for an email marketer that is passionate about their marketing career and measures their success by driving results through traffic and sales. In this role you will generate strategy-driven, laser-targeted, creative emails that engage customers, increase repeat rate, and maximize lifetime value.
The Email Marketing Specialist will plan and execute email campaigns, maintain a healthy and growing email file, and segment customers for personalized marketing. The email marketing specialist will be committed to A/B testing, stay up to date with email marketing best practices, measure the effectiveness of each campaign and report on campaign performance.
Responsibilities
The email marketing specialist’s responsibilities will include:
· Write campaign goals and objectives
· Manage the email and SMS marketing calendar
· Plan, build, launch email and SMS campaigns across brands
· Develop customer segmentation for personalization and remarketing strategy
· Perform A/B Testing to iterate and improve creative and list segmentation
· Actively pursue growth of email and SMS customer lists
· Manage customer list and database, clean up and maximize list health
· Monitor, report, and track email performance metrics (i.e. open rates, click-through rates and conversion rates) and share with key stakeholders.
· Analyze performance data and making recommendations for improved performance
· Evaluate new opportunities to evolve the email program and ensure that it is best-in-class
· Fully understand the brand voice, brand guidelines, mission, and vision statement of each of our brands
Overview
Location: Jacksonville, FL with flexible hybrid work environment.
The email marketing specialist will report to the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager.
Requirements
Candidates must:
· Have experience working in eCommerce, ideally having been directly involved in running email campaigns for 1 or more eCommerce websites
· Have experience using Google Analytics or other similar web analytics software to track and understand eCommerce behavior of users and site performance
· Experience developing email campaigns using software from MailChimp, Constant Contact, Klaviyo or similar.
· The ability to influence, communicate and collaborate across teams and levels
· Be comfortable working in a start-up, fast-paced environment, where responsibilities can change.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
· Be confident in the use of standard Microsoft Office products (including Microsoft Teams) to track data, share information and present ideas
· Show general skills and work ethic including:

Preferred Skills, Background & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or higher (ideally in a relevant subject, business, communications, economics, UX & design etc.)
· Proven expertise as an email marketing specialist or similar role
· In-depth understanding of current email marketing strategies and tactics
· Solid platform skills on best of breed email platform
· Knowledge of HTML & CSS for email
· Well-organized and detail oriented
· Exceptional communication and writing skills
