Though the business has shifted over the last 10 years to be predominately e-commerce driven, we are still, at the very core, a relationship driven business. We recognize the value in serving our customers more than one-off transactions which is why we are expanding our business to business division.

HC Brands is seeking a qualified individual to accelerate our sales growth. The candidate MUST have a measured, positive history of bringing in new accounts in a business to business sales environment and demonstrate that he or she has an extensive network of customer relationships. The candidate should have the ability to manage existing relationships and cultivate the trust of many legacy customers. He or she will be expected to farm leads from a multitude of sources and help improve our processes and sales pipeline. He or she will attend community networking events, trade shows, and travel approximately 10% of the time or less.

 

Typical Day:

  • Cold-call new prospects with an expectation of a minimum of 20 calls daily.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process.
  • Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base.
  • Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
  • Create and deliver qualified opportunities to other team members.
  • Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects in sales force.
  • Ensure follow-up by passing leads to appropriate team members with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations for perspective clients and at tradeshows.
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert into sales. accounts in the salesforce database.

 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of sales experience
  • Must possess an ability to convert warm leads to long term customers and grow accounts
  • Must demonstrate ability to bring in new accounts from networking, previous sales relationships, cold calling, or other methods
  • Experience using Sales Force
