What’s covered?

HC Brands and our family of brands guarantees our self-inking rubber stamps against defects in workmanship and materials under normal usage, with proper care and reinking, for as long as you own it. Your stamp should not fall apart, break, chip, peel, get stuck, break, rot, or spontaneously combust… it should work just as well day 1,000 as it did day 1.

What’s not covered?

Don’t be that person who takes advantage of our warranty. Examples include:

  • You ran out of ink. We have replacement ink cartridges and bottles for sale!
  • You moved and you need a new address stamp. Not protected.
  • You changed your last name and need a new signature stamp. Also, not protected.
  • You dropped it from the roof or did something extreme. We’re just going to have to trust you here.
  • Industrial stamping. Our warranty protects at-home users who are doing a normal amount of stamping. Heavy-duty, extremely frequent, or very rapid stamping, we do expect some wear and tear. But, we’re happy to review your claim.

How to properly care for your stamp

  • Store in a climate controlled place, away from dust and heat
  • Do not submerge in water. Use a mild soap or rubbing alcohol to remove ink from the stamp die and wipe stamp body clean with a paper towel or cloth if need be.
  • Refill your ink cartridge with one of our bottles or replacement cartridges when you are running low. You should expect self-inking stamps to last 3-4,000 impressions.

What should I do if I need to use my warranty?

Please email us at warranty@ holmescustom.com and give us the details of what happened. Be sure to include your name, phone number, email address, and mailing address for the replacement. Let us know what happened or what is defective. Please include a picture. We will review it and get back to you within 5-7 business days.
