Job description
Our latest opportunity is a Full-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist! The Accounts
Receivable Specialist will be an important part of the finance team that handles the billing and payment processing for our clients. They will report to the Controller and help with accounting projects, initiatives, and improvements.
Position Responsibilities
- Contact clients for past-due payments
- Report on the status of past due payments
- Collect and record payments in the accounting system
- Auto-post large numbers of transactions and reconcile payments that don’t match
- Move payments and invoices within the accounting systems
- Assist with implementation of NetSuite system
- Create SOPs for accounting processes
- Monitor customer accounts for compliance with sales tax laws
- Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Create adhoc reports as necessary
- Work on unique quarterly projects that help the company achieve its goals
Experience/Skills
- 3 Years accounts receivable/ bookkeeping experience
- Organized and detail oriented
- Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Word
- Demonstrate a high capacity for time management, organization, and project management abilities
- NetSuite experience a plus
- Excellent written, oral communication, and reporting skills
- Motivated independent thinker and a team player
- Friendly and patient when working with customers over the phone
